Rules FAQs

Staff are available at the Registration Building at the Comfort Camping Cabin site. Upon check-in, you will receive your cabin door access code.

If you are arriving after 8pm, please call 780-623-8449 to make alternate arrangements. 

Peak Season (May 1 – Sept 30): Cabins #1–15 require a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Winter Season (Oct 1 – April 30): Cabins #6–15 require minimum stay of 2 nights on weekends. A 1-night stay is allowed during the week.

Christmas/New Year's (Dec 16 – Jan 6): Cabins #6–15 require a minimum stay of 2 nights.

A mandatory upfront refundable damage deposit of $350 will be pre-authorized at time of check-in with a credit card.

Features

    Cabins #1-15 are insulated, hard-walled cabins with spacious floor plans.

    Maximum capacity per cabin is 8 people (no more than 6 adults)

    Units #1-5

    • Units #1- #3, #5: 450 square feet; accessible Unit #4: 500 square feet.
    • One queen-sized bed in bedroom; two double mattresses in bunk layout plus one pull-out futon (double bed size) in main living room.
    • Potable water and flush toilets in cabin.
    • Shower/bathroom facilities located at Cabin Registration building.

    Units #6-8

    • 680 square feet, accessible for persons with disabilities.
    • Bedroom one: queen-sized bed; bedroom two: three double mattresses in bunk bed layout; main living room: one pull-out futon (double bed size).
    • Bathroom with toilet, sink and roll-in (accessible) shower.

    Units #9-15

    • 680 square feet
    • Units #9 - #10 - bedroom one: queen-sized bed; bedroom two: three double mattresses in bunk bed layout; main living room: couch.
    • Units #11 - #15 - bedroom one: queen-sized bed; bedroom two: two double mattresses in bunk bed layout; main living room: couch.
    • Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower tub.

Amenities

    All Units

    • Electric heat, lights and electrical outlets.
    • Pots, pans, cooking implements, plates, bowls, cups and utensils.
    • Fridge (18 cubic feet with freezer), stove, microwave, drip coffee maker and toaster.
    • Kitchen table and chairs (4).
    • Private deck with wooden bench.
    • Cabin #1 - Cabin #5: propane Barbeque (propane supplied), fire pit, & picnic table.
    • Cabin #6 - Cabin #15: natural gas Barbeque, fire pit, & picnic table.
    • Each cabin has a trailer pad available, with 30 amp power hook up, for an additional $42.00 per night (registration at cabin registration building is required).

    Cabin Site Registration Building

    • Cabin Registration Building allows campers to check-in at cabin site without driving into campground.
    • Two Stores are available in Park at Cabin Site Registration Building & SWC Campground: firewood, ice, snacks, etc.
Accessibility
  • Accessible Cabins - #4 (without shower facility), #6, #7, #8;
  • 1 accessible, private shower in Registration Building

Rules

    • Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m.
    • Pets are not allowed inside comfort camping units aside from designated units, with the exception of registered service animals. Users of service animals should have government-issued identification cards for confirmation.
    • Only Cabins #8 and #9 are pet friendly cabins. Guests will be charged an additional $20 per day per pet
    • Smoking and/or vaping of tobacco and cannabis is strictly prohibited inside the unit and on the deck.

What to Bring

    • Food & beverages 
    • Pillows and sleeping bags or duvets/blankets, sheets
    • Towels, toiletries, hair dryer, etc
    • Flashlight
    • Insect repellant and sunscreen
    • Appropriate clothing and footwear, hat and sunglasses
    • 30-50 foot extension cord for plugging in RV (or vehicles during winter)
