The maximum nights reservable is now 10 consecutive nights.
The maximum stay is 16 consecutive nights, but will require multiple reservations.
There is a maximum capacity for each comfort camping unit based on size. Check the Comfort Camping summary or the specific park's comfort camping page for the maximum capacity.
There is a limit of 4 reservations per transaction. There is no limit to the number of transactions that can be made.
A confirmed reservation is not transferable from one person to another.
Guaranteed check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 12 p.m. (noon).
Pets are not allowed in or around comfort camping sites.
Exception: At Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park, pets are allowed in an additional camping units (trailer/tent) on site. Cabins #8 and #9 arepet friendly cabins. Guests will be charged anadditional non-refundable fee of $20 per stay.
Smoking and vaping of tobacco and cannabis is strictly prohibited inside and on the decks of comfort camping units.
Comfort camping account holders are responsible for the actions of all camping party members and any visitors to their unit. Please review Regulations for Alberta's Provincial Parks and Recreation Areas.
Fees
In addition to the comfort camping fees, there is a $12.00 non-refundable reservation fee per reserved comfort camping unit.
All comfort camping fees must be prepaid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Any refunds will be applied to the card used for the original transaction.
Special Events
If a comfort camping unit is being reserved for a special event, a Special Events Permit may be required.
If required ensure that you apply for a Special Events Permit well in advance so you have event approval before making your reservation.
Changing a Comfort Camping Reservation
Comfort camping reservations can only be changed by the account holder or a pre-authorized designate.
There is a non-refundable "change fee" per change (name and address changes are free).
There is no limit to the number of changes that can be made to a reservation.
Any additional charges for changes to a reservation are payable when the change is made.
To receive a full refund of the comfort camping fees, changes to your arrival date must be made more than 72 hours before 2 p.m. of the originally scheduled arrival date.
1 night penalty if less than 72 hours but greater than 48 hours notice before 2 p.m. of originally scheduled arrival date
2 nights penalty if less than 48 hours but greater than 24 hours notice before 2 p.m. of originally scheduled arrival date
3 nights penalty if less than 24 hours notice before 2 p.m. of originally scheduled arrival date
To receive a full refund of the comfort camping fees, changes to your departure date must be made more than 72 hours before 2 p.m. of the revised departure date (i.e. shortening your stay).
1 night penalty if less than 72 hours but greater than 48 hrs notice before 2 p.m. of revised departure date.
Up to 2 nights penalty if less than 48 hours but greater than 24 hrs notice before p.m. of revised departure date.
Up to 3 nights penalty if less than 24 hours notice before p.m. of revised departure date.
Changes are only permitted within the same Provincial Park or Provincial Recreation Area.
Cancelling a Comfort Camping Reservation
Comfort camping reservations can only be cancelled by the account holder or a pre-authorized designate.
To receive a full refund of the comfort camping fees, cancellations must be made more than 72 hours before 2 p.m. of the originally scheduled arrival date.

2 nights penalty if less than 48 hours but greater than 24 hrs notice before 2 p.m. of originally scheduled arrival date

As camping conditions are highly variable, reservation and change fees are non-refundable, except in a event of a campground closure.
Late Arrivals / No Shows
You must notify the Contact Centre at 1-877-537-2757 of a late arrival. A late arrival is a planned arrival after 2 p.m. of the day following the scheduled arrival date.
If notice of a late arrival is not provided and you do not register by 2 p.m. of the day following the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is considered a "no-show" and will be cancelled. The comfort camping unit will be released for resale.
Up to four nights comfort camping fees will be forfeited, depending on the length of the stay. Any remaining comfort camping fees will be refunded to the card used for the original transaction. The reservation fee is non-refundable.
