Pelican Viewpoint Lookout Deck — Big Island Loop Road
Welcoming back birds from near & far, and featuring others who always call SWCPP home… the great migration is in full swing and the choir is singing! Enjoy the views from this newly upgraded lookout space, along with use the viewing binoculars to see Pelican Island.

Art in the Park

Circle of Forest Life

Is the boreal forest prepared to grow back after fire? Discover the vital role of fire in forest renewal and succession as you explore each stage of regrowth - then bring the story to life by collecting beads to create your own Circle of Life bracelet or keychain! Learn how Sir Winston Churchill's Old Growth Forest provides a specialized ecosystem providing a uniquely diverse habitat. 

Tickets / Registration

All Alberta Parks interpretive family programming is on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
