Notikewin Provincial Park is 35 km north of Manning on Hwy 35 and 30 m east on Hwy 692. At the confluence of the Peace and Notikewin Rivers, camp in the quiet treed sites. Fish from shore, for walleye or northern pike or hand launch your small boat or canoe on the river. Watch for wildlife; you may catch a glimpse of sandhill cranes or woodpeckers here.

- Beach: As the beach is a sand bar, its size fluctutes with water levels on the Peace River.
- Birding: Sandhill cranes and several species of raptors and cavity-nesting species, including various woodpeckers, live in this park.
- Canoeing: There is river access only. An open area along the shoreline is available to hand launch boats or canoes and to park a vehicle.
- Fishing: Excellent fishing for walleye and northern pike
- Power boating: Undeveloped landing area on sandbar
