Details: The Campground and Group Use Area are now closed for camping for the season. The Day Use Area continues to be available through the fall season.
Maqua Lake Campground is located on the eastern shore of Maqua Lake, about 37 km southeast of Fort McMurray. The rustic campground features 7 individual unserviced campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and firepit. Vault toilets are available within the campground loop, and drinking water can be accessed from a hand pump at the campground entrance. Firewood may be purchased on site from Park Rangers when they are present.

A dump station is available nearby in the community of Fort McMurray, or at Gregoire Lake Provincial Park.
