Program space: Shaw Lake Day Use Area Day Use Chalet / Picnic Area & nearby trails.

This is a drop-in program from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.
Program begins with the first cup of tea at 7:00pm then a guided walk and wraps up with another cup of tea.

This program is a unique experience that blends a plant identification walk with a relaxing tea tasting, all rooted in the beauty and benefits of local flora. Discover the natural world around you while sipping thoughtfully brewed teas made from Boreal Forest plants.


Directions: Shaw Lake Day Use Area is 24 km east of Lac La Biche along HWY 881 and east on a gravel road Hwy 663/TWP 672.

Tickets / Registration

This Alberta Parks programming is free to attend and for park visitors of all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
