Located only 30 km from Calgary, West Bragg Creek Provincial Recreation Area is the access point for hundreds of kilometres of multi-use trails in the surrounding Kananaskis Public Land Use Zone. The terrain is mostly gentle and rolling and the forest is a mix of aspen and evergreens which has been logged in places, opening up many lovely vistas. Creeks, springs, and wetlands add variety to the landscape. Hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians will all enjoy spending time on the trails.
