Seniors Social Winter Hikes

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley. Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

Join Rocky Mountain Adaptive (RMA) on a guided winter hike from 10:00am - 3:00pm on the frosty trails in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. This experience is guided but unstructured so participants can enjoy the most mingling time. Hot chocolate is provided. 

What to Wear: ski jacket & pants, gloves, sunglasses (weather dependent) and additional warm layers of clothing.

What to Bring: water bottle, sunscreen, nut-free snacks and/or lunch. 

Adaptive equipment such as a TrailRider can be provided if needed. 

Register By: a minimum of 7 days in advance of the date you would like to attend. For last minute books, please contact bookings@rockymountainadaptive.com.

The $15 deposit is to ensure attendance and will be refunded or returned to you in the form of a RMA gift certificate.
