Parks Day Celebration 2024

Select roads, campgrounds, day-use areas, trails, and areas of Kananaskis Country will be temporarily closed before, during, and after the 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit in June. Check for closures before you go.

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

Join Parks staff from 11am-2pm at Boulton Bridge Day use area for this free family friendly public event!

  • All Day: Natural history prop talks
  • All Day: Games and Crafts
  • All Day: Interactive Displays
  • 11:30: Bear Guided walk (max 20 people. Register at event)
  • 12:00pm: Amphitheatre Show - "Finding Fawn"
  • 1:00: Bear Guided walk (max 20 people. Register at event)
  • 1:30: Cake cutting

*Parking located in upper parking lot at Boulton Store.
