The Day Use Area at Goldeye Lake Provincial Recreation Area is designed for a perfect day of recreation no matter the season.
In the summer, the clear lake offers swimming and excellent rainbow trout fishing, where visitors often report consistent bites and good action. The area features a convenient boat launch (electric motors only) and a dedicated fish cleaning station to handle your catch.
During winter, visitors frequent the area for ice fishing and ungroomed cross-country skiing opportunities.
Beyond the water, enjoy hiking on the lake-encircling trail. Be sure to bring your binoculars to explore the quiet shores along the north side of the lake for great birdwatching opportunities.
