Goldeye Lake Provincial Recreation Area is a popular, family-friendly destination for outdoor adventures, just outside of Nordegg.

This location offers a wide range of amenities, including a campground featuring private sites and a dedicated Day Use Area. Enjoy canoeing, boating (electric motor only), and swimming on this beautiful foothills lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout.

For trail enthusiasts, a scenic loop trail encircles the lake. For a longer adventure, explore the multi-use FireSmart Ecology Trail. This 13 km route offers excellent hiking and mountain biking terrain that connects directly to Fish Lake Provincial Recreation Area.

8 km west of Nordegg on Hwy. 11 & 3 km north on a gravel access road
