Parks Day

Come and join us in celebrating Parks Day at Crimson Lake Provincial Park!

  • 11:00 AM – Art in the Park 

Join the Campground Volunteer Hosts in front of the Registration Booth to make a nature based craft!

  • 11:30 AM – Show & Shine/Workshop

Join our Maintenance Team in the day use area to learn about some of their equipment! Learn proper technique for skills such as using a hammer!

  • 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Scavenger Hunt 

Meet up with the Information Officers at the Registration Booth to participate in a campground wide Scavenger Hunt!

  • 2:30 PM – Parks Day Cake

Happy Parks Day! Come celebrate with us and grab a piece of cake! (Limited Amount so get it while it lasts!) Find them in the Day Use Area. 

  • 2:30 PM – Safety Table

Learn from our Rangers in the Day Use Area about important safety measures when recreating in our beautiful park!

  • 3:00 PM – Ultimate Survivor 

Join our Park Interpreter at the Nature Playground near the Sandpit to participate in Ultimate Survivor - do you have what it takes to survive?

  • 6:15 PM – Music in the Forest with Dick Gehrke 

Join us at the amphitheatre with local Dick Gehrke. Tickets are $12 per person plus fees and taxes. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance here: Music in the Forest - Dick Gehrke. Tickets can also be purchased at the door via credit card.

Please email FP.DTMAVisitorExperience@gov.ab.ca to secure your free 12 and under children's tickets. 

Doors open at 6:15 PM. Concert starts at 7:00 PM.
