The Chambers Creek Group Use Area features a cook shelter with tables and a wood stove, ideal for gatherings and providing a comfortable space regardless of the weather. For recreation, the creek flows just below the camp, providing excellent opportunities for trout fishing and cooling off during the warmer months.
In partnership with the Rail Trail Initiative, OHV off-loading is permitted on the gravel footprint of the Group Use Area only. Visitors are welcome to stage their OHV adventure here to ride on trails outside of the park boundary.
Recent changes to the recreation area regulation under the Public Health Act have affected provision of drinking water in this group campground – we cannot absolutely guarantee that water from hand pumps is free of pathogens because of the risk of ground water contamination. As a result, Alberta Parks recommends that you bring your own drinking water.
