Details:Please be advised that all three boat launches at Aspen Beach Provincial Park are closed until further notice. This necessary measure is due to critically low water levels in Gull Lake, which pose a significant safety risk to boaters and could cause damage to watercraft. Please respect all closures and obey all signage posted on site. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of all park visitors.
Alberta Parks is actively monitoring the water levels and will reassess the situation as conditions change. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to your experience.

Details:Please be advised that improvements to the Lakeview Campground washroom facilities are planned throughout the 2026 camping season.
The washroom located in B Loop (nearest to site B-177) is closed for construction until further notice. Temporary outhouse facilities will be available in the area during this time. Alberta Parks recognizes that flush washrooms are an important service for visitors and apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
Additional washroom and shower house upgrades will occur intermittently throughout Lakeview Campground until June 24, 2026. Work is being prioritized to occur Monday through Thursday to help minimize impacts to weekend visitors. As construction schedules are finalized, temporary closures may occur in different areas of the campground.
Updates will be posted regularly throughout the duration of this project to keep visitors informed.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Details:Due to below average seasonal temperatures, potable water (drinking water) will not be available for the May long weekend and campground opening. Potable water is not expected to be available until after the long weekend. Non-potable water is expected to be available from the campground water taps and sani dump, pending system start up. Non-potable water is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
Please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
When you’re looking for an escape from your day-to-day hustle in central Alberta, Aspen Beach Provincial Park is the place to go. Centrally located a short distance from Lacombe, Red Deer, and Sylvan Lake, Aspen Beach Provincial Park offers year-round recreation on the south shores of Gull Lake.
During the summer, enjoy one of Alberta’s best lakes at Ebeling Day Use, where you will find a large sandy beach, green space, playground, and concession.
In the winter months, visit the park to enjoy your favourite winter activities. There are over 8 km of trails for walking or snowshoeing, as well as a maintained skating rink with lights, fire pits, picnic tables and benches. Please note that there is no vehicle access into the park during the winter. Visitors must park and access the trails from one of the two staging areas.
