This rustic riverside campground is in Dutch Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 30 km north of Crowsnest on Forestry Trunk Road. There are over 40 sites which are suitable for RVs and tents. Pine and spruce trees provide some shelter and privacy. There are beautiful views and lots of wildlife in this remote area.

Campsites are first come-first served. Self-registration is in effect with camping fees paid by cash or personal cheque only.

Seasonal Camping

  • Located: 47 km north of Crowsnest Pass via Highway 40
  • Seasonal campsites: 15 basic sites (no water/power/sewer)
  • Rate: $17/night for periods of 90 to 150 nights
  • Seasonal camping applications will be accepted starting March 8, 2021

Camping Notes

Firewood

No firewood is available on site.

Water

You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
