Notes

• Parking is limited at the Chinook Lake Day Use Area (next to lake) and no parking is allowed on the hill for emergency response reasons.  During busy days, visitors are welcome to park at the Allison Day Use Public Land Recreation Area and access the lake with a short walk along the creek side 1 km trail.
• You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
• The vault toilet is wheelchair-accessible.
