Day Use is permitted. Outhouse facilities are open where feasible - be prepared with your own hand sanitizer and toilet paper. Campgrounds open, starting June 1 at 50% capacity. Second RV units will not be permitted on campsites. We are monitoring our actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will adjust as needed.
Fees, Confirmation and Cancellation Policy
The fee is $125 per field study for a maximum of 25 students.
Once the requested date, time, number of students and teachers are confirmed, a confirmation/invoice will be emailed. Payment is due when the invoice is received.
Payment is accepted by cheque (payable to "Government of Alberta") or credit card.
A booking is confirmed when payment is received.
An information package is sent with the confirmation receipt.
A deposit will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is provided at least 1 week prior to the scheduled program. If a program is cancelled due to inclement weather, the fee will also be refunded.
Field studies are designed for 25 students, with one parent volunteer/teaching assistant required for every five students.
Groups larger than 25 can be accommodated. However, arrangements must to be made in advance.
Our field studies are adaptable to suit the needs and ability levels of all participants.
OUr fees are intended to be affordable for schools and groups.
Let us know about your special needs when booking a program so we can fine-tune the program and make other arrangements.
