Please be advised that a Blue-Green Algae Advisory has been issued for Williamson Provincial Park at Sturgeon Lake. To protect yourself, pets and children, avoid contact with blue-green algae blooms. Potential side effects could include; Skin, eye and ear infections if you come in contact with the water, vomiting and diarrhea if the water is consumed. Persons experiencing illness after having contact with lake water are advised to call Health Link at 811
