Details:Please be advised that due to the ongoing rain and wet season - hiking trails in the North end of Whitney Lakes Provincial Park are now closed until further notice. Trails are flooded and washed out. This includes the Esker Trail.

Details:Please be advised that potable water (drinking water) is not available in the Whitney and Ross Lake Campgrounds until further notice. Non-potable water is available from the campground water taps. Non-potable water is not safe for consumption and should only be used to put out fires.
Please plan accordingly and bring your own water.

Details:Please be advised that with the ongoing weather events, trails may become impassable due to fallen trees and flooding. Please use caution when accessing hiking trails and be prepared to turn back or change your plans.
With natural sand beaches, Ross Lake is a favorite spot for swimming, boating, paddling, fishing, and birding during the summer months. Known for its rich wildlife habitat, Ross Lake offers multiple access points to more than 30 kilometres of trails throughout the park. The park has 150 well-treed campsites. 144 of these sites have power hookups. Site 31 is wheelchair accessible.
Amenities include a camp store for supplies and treats, as well as a shower house, tap water, a playground, and sanitary dump station.
