Details:Due to below average seasonal temperatures, potable water (drinking water) is not available. Non-potable water is available from the campground water taps. Non-potable water is not safe for consumption and should only be used to put out fires.
Please plan accordingly and bring your own water.

Details:Waskahigan River Group Use closes for the season on September 7.
First-come, first-served camping remains available at the Waskahigan River Campground until September 27. The campground will close for the season on September 28.
Waskahigan River Provincial Recreation Area is 37.5 km south of Valleyview on Hwy. 43.From here you can access the Iosegun River where you can kayak, canoe and fish for a variety of species such as Arctic grayling, walleye, mountain whitefish and pike. There are also lots of informal trails to explore.
