Jack Bird Day Use

Located a short drive east of Moonshine Lake, Jack Bird Pond Day Use Area is one of the best locations for wildlife viewing in the area. Surrounded by a diverse boreal mixed forest, this wetland area has a number of beaver ponds alongside various species of birds and waterfowl. This Day Use Area is named after Jack Bird, who donated the parcel of land in 1978 which was incorporated into the Provincial Park in 1998.
