Marten River Day Use

Information: 780-849-2111
Season: Year-round

Marten River Day Use Area is located between the Marten River Group Use Area and Marten River Campground. From here, you can access the Jack Pine Trail, the Marten River Campground Beach Trail, the hand boat launch, and a beautiful natural sand beach. If you turn right at the bottom of the path to the boat launch, you’ll reach the dog-friendly beach, where dogs are allowed on leashes. Turn left, and you’re on the people-only section of the beach. Picnic tables, a group use firepit, and the Marten River Amphitheatre are also located here, next to the parking lot. Check out the fun public programs that happen here several days a week in July and August!

Did you forget to bring your lifejacket? Borrow one from the lifejacket loaner station located near the boat launch.
