Fawcett Lake Day Use Area offers a hand launch for small boats, a mooring pier, parking, picnic tables, firepits, and an open grassy area for throwing a frisbee or other outdoor play. There is a small beach area and plenty of space for fishing from the shore. If you are a history buff, look along the shore in the day use area for the concrete mooring posts and heavy-duty chains that were part of a 1940s sawmill and logging camp.
