Details: The lake level in Wildhorse Lake is low. As a result, the floating dock is anchored in very shallow water and the ground is muddy. Please exercise caution while launching boats.

Details: OHV use is permitted on the lake ice surface. Take the most direct route to the ice surface. Save the shoreline. Remember – no ice is ever 100% safe. Ice thickness can vary.
This scenic campground is found in Wildhorse Lake Provincial Recreation Area, about 25 km southwest of Hinton off Hwy. 16. Enjoy fishing this small mountain lake in a non-motorized or electric powered boat. There are 19 drive up sites and 3 walk in tenting sites.
