Whitehorse Creek Campground is found in Whitehorse Creek Provincial Recreation Area, about 6 km southwest of Cadomin on a gravel access road. It is a staging area for the Whitehorse Wildland Provincial Park. The campground is situated along scenic Whitehorse Creek, near the confluence of the Whitehorse Creek and McLeod River. There are corrals, hitching rails and a loading ramp available for equestrian users, reservations are recommended.

Equestrian campgrounds are intended for campers bringing a horse. Please only book at an equestrian campground if you are using it for equestrian purposes as there are only a few campgrounds available to these users.

  • Reservations can be made by calling 780-865-2154 on Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Reservation fee is non-refundable.
  • Unreserved sites are available on a First Come-First Served basis.

Equestrian
  • 9 Equestrian sites - 2 corrals, 7 with pens & tie stall.
  • Equestrian areas must be reserved.
  • Equestrian users pay an additional $4.00/horse/night.
Water

Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
