Details:
Thunder Lake Provincial Park is currently undergoing infrastructure upgrades as part of ongoing improvements by Alberta Parks to enhance the visitor experience and replace aging facilities. Current construction projects include a new consolidated Visitor Services Building, an upgraded park entrance, a new dump station, improvements to water distribution lines, and installation of a modern sanitary system.
Please note that the park check-in booth has been temporarily relocated and will remain in its temporary location until June 23, 2026. Ice will not be available during this time. Visitors are asked to follow posted signage upon arrival.
The former shower building is partially open at this time.
- Showers are currently closed until further notice.
- Flush toilets and non-potable water at sinks are available at this time.
