Where: Swan Lake Campground , Swan Lake Provincial Recreation Area
Details: As of September 8, 2026, Swan Lake has transitioned to winter seasonal operations and is officially closed for regular campground use. During this period services and facilities are limited or unavailable. The campground is not open for overnight camping. Visitors are asked to respect all posted closures and regulations during the winter season. We look forward to welcoming campers back in May 2027.
With 22 unserviced campsites well suited for RVs and tents, Swan Lake is a perfect getaway for your summer holiday. Most sites are surrounded by trees, with a few choice sites located next to the lake. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vault toilets and non-potable water pumps are available throughout the campground.
Please ensure you bring firewood, drinking water, and a map of the area if you plan to visit as no services are available, and cell phone reception is limited.
While campers may take advantage of the proximity to off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails, off-loading or operating OHVs inside the park is strictly prohibited. OHVs must remain on trailers until they reach the nearby trail systems and staging areas.

Firewood is not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to bring or buy firewood locally to burn on site.
WaterPlease bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
