Details:Starting December 1st, 2025 access to Black Mountain Staging Area and the Snow Creek Provincial Recreation Day Use Area Parking Lot will be closed during timber harvest operations. All Trails will be closed for access.

Located 15 km west of Nordegg, just off Highway 11, Snow Creek Provincial Recreation Area is accessed via a 2 km gravel road. The park consists of a Group Use Area, and a Day Use Staging Area to access the nearby trail system outside the park boundaries.
For recreation, the area provides direct access to a comprehensive trail network, welcoming mountain bikers, hikers, walkers, and trail runners seeking outdoor adventure. Visitors are encouraged to visit the following webpage for more information: NORCA.
