Details:The cement pads on the boat launch are damaged due to ground heaving, and the launch should not be used by trailers/larger boats. Hand launching small boats, kayaks and canoes should be done cautiously.
Minnow Lake Provincial Recreation Area has a private forest clearing group site with a rustic shelter in the trees and a private path down to the lake perfect for fishing or paddling. Hand Launch is available just down the road at the campground. Located 20 km east of Edson on Hwy. 16 and 20 km south on Wolf Lake Road.
Firewood is not available on site.
WaterPlease bring your own water. Water from the hand pump/tap is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
