Details: The cement pads on the boat launch are damaged due to ground heaving and the launch should not be used by trailers/larger boats. Hand launching small boats, kayaks and canoes should be done cautiously. In the winter, ground heaving and the damaged cement pads still impact access to the lake if accessing with a vehicle.
Minnow Lake Provincial Recreation Area has nine individual first-come, first-served campsites in a grassy field with surrounding trees next to a small lake perfect for fishing perch and walleye from small water crafts. Located 20 km east of Edson on Hwy. 16 and 20 km south on Wolf Lake Road.
