Elk Creek Campground is found in Elk Creek Provincial Recreation Area, 65 km southwest of Rocky Mountain House on Forestry Trunk Road (Hwy. 734). This small campground near the Clearwater River provides a base for those wishing to fish or explore hiking and equestrian trails in the area. The use of OHVs is permitted at this campground. Please keep OHVs on established roadways within the recreation area.

Off Highway Vehicles (OHVs): OHV off-loading within the campground and travel on established roadways during daylight hours is permitted within Elk Creek Provincial Recreation Area. Off-road travel is not permitted within the PRA, and the maximum permissible speed for OHV operation in the recreation area is 15 km/h. Enjoy the Forestry Trunk Road OHV corridor and informal trails in the vicinity.
