Parks Day

If you love us, tell us! In honour of Parks Day, share with us why you love Alberta Parks! Download the I Love Alberta Parks template, write down why you ❤ Alberta Parks, snap a photo of yourself holding the sign, and then share it with us on social media using #ILoveABparks. We’ll be sharing on our Alberta Parks Facebook and Twitter pages throughout the summer!

Parks Day is celebrated nation-wide on the third Saturday every July.  Participating parks across Alberta host fun activities for the whole family. Enter a sandcastle-building competition, learn about bear safety, go on a scavenger hunt, enjoy a campfire or just connect with nature.  Parks Day is a great opportunity for Albertans to rediscover fun and reconnect with nature.
