Police Coulee Hike

Join us on an excursion to explore Police Coulee and visit the reconstructed Northwest Mounted Police Post. Relive the past as you wade across the Milk River to where the Mounties lived and worked for over 30 years. On this 4 km trek you will learn more about the local history of the area, visit Signature Rock, and view this beautiful and diverse coulee system.

The program is approximately 2 hours in duration and suitable for those aged 8 years and older. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This 4 km walking tour is of moderate difficulty with uneven terrain and some steep sections.

Please bring one litre of water per person, a hat, sunblock, bug spray, river-crossing footwear and good hiking shoes (closed-toe and heel). Long pants are recommended. River level conditions are subject to the weather and may change suddenly .

No pets or smoking permitted.
