Waterton Reservoir Campground

This waterfront campground is in Waterton Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area, 25 km south of Pincher Creek on Hwy. 6 and 25 km east on Hwy. 505. Camp close to the water, where you can swim, paddle, waterski, windsurf, fish and more. A great place to enjoy water activities and a good stopover for those looking to explore the nearby southern Rockies.

      Camping  All campsites are first come-first served.  Self-registration is in effect with camping fees payment by cash or personal cheque only.

      Camping  Access to the campground is open year-round.  In the off-season, Waterton Reservoir Campground is "user maintained" with no services.

      Firewood  Firewood sales on weekends are available from early May to Labour Day.

      Water  You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
