Camp along the Cowboy Trail in Maycroft Provincial Recreation Area 3 km west of Lundbreck and 27 km north. This campground is in the open prairie bordering the southern Rockies and has RV and tent-friendly sites along the Oldman River. Fish on the river or discover the wild lands to the north in Bob Creek Provincial Park/Black Creek Heritage Rangelands.

Campsites are first come-first served. Self-registration is in effect with camping fees paid by cash or personal cheque only.
You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
