Writing-on-Stone/ Áísínai’pi was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. This unique site in the Canadian Badlands protects a vast collection of ancient pictographs and petroglyphs created by Blackfoot and other First Nations groups. The awe-inspiring badlands setting is a rugged, yet fragile location that is home to numerous species at risk. Áísínai’pi promotes a living cultural landscape and works to provide authentic stories and interpretation to visitors from around the world.


Position: Maintenance Service Worker
Classification: Maintenance Service Worker 1
Type: Seasonal (40 hours/week)
Location: Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park
Rate of Pay: $19.60-$23.57
(Plus 11.2% in lieu of benefits and holidays)

  • Experience with operating and maintaining equipment, landscaping, and/or turf management 
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) practices and procedures        
  • Knowledge of Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park facilities and services
