Details: Winterization of water services for campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers will begin September 21, 2026. Year-round water, flush toilets, and showers are available at the Lakeview Shower House, located at the entrance to Lakeview Campground. Water to campgrounds, standpipes, flush toilets, and showers is not guaranteed or charged between September 14, 2026, and June 1, 2027.
The Elkwater Lake Marina is located within Cypress Hills Provincial Park in the Elkwater townsite. The marina is on the south side of Elkwater Lake, located next to the beach and close to the visitor centre.
The Elkwater Lake Marina has a total of 46 slips, with 36 slips available for seasonal use. To ensure an open and fair process, Alberta Parks used a lottery to select seasonal slips for the 2026 season. The lottery application process has closed for the 2026 season.
The remaining slips will be available for daily or weekly rentals on May 14, 2026; reservable up to 90 days in advance of the arrival date on Shop.AlbertaParks.ca.
