Discover the wonderful world of bugs in this hand-on program.  Students explore the terrestrial insect life of the Cypress Hills and learn about the importance of these cryptic and often underappreciated members of our biotic society.

This one-hour program includes

  • Songs and interactive activities on types of insects and body parts
  • An insect camouflage game describing how bugs hide in the environment
  • A hunt for small crawling insects and other creatures on the forest floor
  • Insect collection and up-close viewing
