Nicknamed for its striking turquoise blue colour, Bovin (Blue) Lake, is a rewarding destination for those seeking an escape into the backcountry.

The gravel, double-track trail to the lake winds through subalpine forests, wildflower meadows, and sweeping mountain vistas before opening onto the lake’s serene shoreline. The multi-use trail is designed to accommodate hikers, bikers, and equestrian riders alike! Once at the lake, visitors can enjoy selecting their perfect backcountry site with picnic tables and fire pits available. A composting toilet is available within a short walking distance.

Note: There are no food lockers available on site. Campers should be prepared to store all attractants and food using a proper bear hang.
