Artists and stewards share the same first skill: paying attention to the details. By slowing down to notice colours, textures, shapes and patterns around us, we begin to see nature as a work of art worth remembering, sharing, and protecting.

Join a Park Interpreter for a hands-on outdoor adventure where you'll explore nature up close, activate your senses, and discover how the natural world inspires art. Through nature journaling, creative observation, and wild exploration, you'll capture your own artistic masterpiece inspired by the park itself!

  • All ages welcome; activities tailored to children 6-12.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please be dressed for the weather and insects.
  • No alcohol or smoking permitted during programs.

  • Pets must be on leash during this program.
