Directions to Campground

This campground is found in Waskahigan River Provincial Recreation Area, 37.5 km south of Valleyview on Hwy. 43. A nice little riverside campground on the edge of a mixed boreal forest. From here you can fish in the Waskahigan River or follow a trail to Iosegun River to try your luck. There are also lots of informal trails to explore.

      Notes

      Camping  This is a self-registration campground. Payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.

      Firewood  For the 2018 camping season until September 3, firewood will be available for purchase.  Firewood will be sold on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm at the registration kiosk for $5/wheel barrow bundle.  If you require firewood on weekdays at 7:00 pm or would like firewood delivered at a different time (minimum $20 order), please text 780-622-5503.

      Water  Water is available from a hand pump at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
