Smoke Lake Provincial Recreation Area is 9 km southwest of Fox Creek off Hwy. 43. Visitors to this small park can enjoy canoeing,  kayaking and boating.  Anglers can try their luck to catch walleye, perch, pike and whitefish. In winter come back and experience ice fishing.

Smoke Lake Provincial Recreation Area is operated by the Town of Fox Creek under a lease agreement with the Province of Alberta. This long-term lease provides some flexibility in how the campground is operated. Check with the Town of Fox Creek for more information on services offered.
