Queen Elizabeth Campground

Queen Elizabeth Campground is found along the shores of Lac Cardinal, in Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park. It is 3 km north and 5 km west of Grimshaw off Hwy. 35. There are over 50 campsites tucked into the forest along the lakeside, including some with power. Enjoy the beach, swimming, and boating activities. Take a hike or go mountain biking along shady boreal forest trails. The shallow lake is also a great place for birdwatching.

        Camping  Eighteen of the power sites have 20 amp breakers; 20 of the power sites have 15 amp breakers.

        Camping  This is a self-registration campground. Payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.

        Firewood  Firewood is supplied.

        Sewage  A sewage disposal station is available.

        Water  Drinking water is available.

        Accessability  Two wheelchair-accessible campsites; barrier-free washrooms, trails and picnic shelter.
