Take the Trans Canada Trail through a mixed wood forest along the shore of Lesser Slave Lake to the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation. Bison can sometimes be seen along the fence line at the Northshore Homestead Ranch during winter. This is one of the longest trails in the park, relatively flat and easy.
