This park contains a variety of forest types and includes wetlands adjacent to Sturgeon Lake. The park offers a wide range of outdoor experiences and the campground includes lake shore campsites. There is a network of walking and cross country ski trails through mature mixedwood forest. The mix of shoreline and forest habitats and the observation deck at the beaver pond make this park a great location for bird watching.
