Twin Lakes Provincial Recreation Area is 65 km north of Manning on Hwy. 35. The lake is excellent for canoeing and non-motorized boats with lots of wildlife viewing opportunities. Fish for trout, hike the loop trail to the second lake or take a dip in the cool deep waters. A hand launch and fish cleaning station come in handy at this lake stocked with trout. Electric motors only are allowed on East Twin Lake.

- Fishing: The lake is stocked with rainbow trout.
- Hiking: There is a 3 km loop trail to the second lake and back.
- Power boating: Only electric motors are allowed only on East Twin Lake.
- Swimming: There is no roped-off swimming area but the deep, clean, cool water is great for a quick dip.
