COVID-19 Updates: Taking steps to return to normal.
Sulphur Lake Provincial Recreation area is located about an hour drive north of Peace River. A small campground is nestled in the beautiful mixedwood forest on the shore of Sulphur Lake. There's a hand launch and a boat launch, as well as a pier and fish cleaning station. The lake is aerated to ensure the survival of brook and rainbow trout stocks. Power vessels are subject to a 12 km per hour speed limit.

- Snowmobiling: There are undeveloped trails in the vicinity. Snowmobile off-loading within the campground and travel to trails from campsites is PROHIBITED.
