Music in the Forest - Sean Pinchin

An intimate show in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park at the Community Facility on Long Island. To kick-off the 2025 season of 'Music in the Forest' we're excited to welcome Sean Pinchin to share his stories and music.

A biographical snipped on Sean Pinchin:

Recording original music and creating beautifully constructed interpretations of classic Blues and Roots music since 2007, Sean Pinchin received a (2014) Maple Blues Nomination for Best New Artist, his 2016 Release “Monkey Brain” received the Juno Nomination for Best Blues Album of the Year (2017) and he was recognized by the Toronto Blues Society as Semi Finalist for the Road to Memphis Challenge (2019). In (2020) Sean recorded guitar for the “Lily Pad Bop” by Splash’N Boots featuring Jill Barber which won the Juno Award for Best Children’s Album.

2024 is proved to be a standout year for Sean as he made his Ottawa Blues Festival debut and opened for Legendary guitarist Sonny Landreth in Uxbridge Ontario in July. Sean also performed at Kitchener Blues Festival, Festival International du Blues de Tremblant, WayneStock 2024, and toured with bassist Scott Fitzpatrick thru Southern Ontario this summer. Recently relocating to Edmonton as a new 'home-base', Sean is excited to tour and share his stories with western provinces of Canada.
