Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

This pretty loop trail through mixed woods and across a woodland stream connects the campground loops with each other, the Freighter Lakeshore Trail, the beach, the playground, the amphitheatre, and the day use area. In summer, watch for children cycling. In winter, enjoy snowshoeing through the trees. The trail is generally flat with some small gentle slopes.
