Marten Mountain Road

Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

This vehicle road is closed all winter long so it’s groomed for cross-country skiing and can also be used for snowshoeing. Keep an eye open for winter wildlife as you travel the trail. This trail is all uphill on the way out, then all downhill on the way back, and it has some very steep slopes.
